From frame to functional.
A thoughtful design-to-prototype routine.
Choose one small interaction
Pick a single frame and one behavior, such as selecting an option. Record loading, empty, error and keyboard states before generating code.
Give your assistant the right context
Use Figma’s supported setup to supply the frame. Include the target framework, existing components and accessibility requirements. Ask it to identify gaps before implementation.
Build, inspect, compare
Work on a branch. Run the prototype with test data, then use browser checks and human visual review. Check focus order, contrast, responsive behavior and whether the interaction solves the original problem.
Your starting prompt
Review this design and identify missing interaction states. Propose an implementation using our existing components. Ask before changing the design or introducing a dependency. Keep changes on a branch. Provide a verification checklist.
